Paper Sculptures a
These sculptures are constructed
from ink drawings, cloth, tracing
paper and assorted other textured
material. They came into being at a
time when I was moving into a new
home after many years in the same
place, and shortly afterwards into a
new classroom.
A sense of three-dimensional space
and my attachment to it and it's
various meanings became a
preoccupation for me and manifested
itself in these constructions which to
me are both architectural and layered
with emotional meaning.
